About Me.
I'm a research neuroscientist born in El Paso Texas. I've made the pacific northwest my home in recent years and I've come to love the community and how deeply people are connected to the land. As a Latino Native American, I am continually finding new supportive communities while discovering new ways to incorporate community-based participatory practices into my research . I reside in Portland with my wife and 2 boys.
